Ehsaas langar Program

Koi bhoka na soya orEhsaas langar Program was launched by the government of Pakistan on October 7, 2019. Poverty and hunger are the main objectives of this Government initiative. A number of worthy promises were made to the public when the PTI government came to power in 2018. A hunger relief package was announced by Imran Khan for the poorest members of society, especially daily wage earners and laborers.
At the intersection of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, near the Faizabad bus station, the first langar khana opened on October 7, 2019. The prime minister at the time, Imran Khan, enjoyed eating food and praised its quality during a meeting with the public. One hundred and sixty-eight people took part in the trial on the first day.
Among the cities to get long khanas under the Ehsaas scheme are Quetta, Faisalabad, and Karachi. In order to achieve SDG and DSG2, and eliminate poverty and hunger, the langar scheme has been designed with this ethos in mind.

Long policy is a safety net policy included in the ehsaas umbrella. The EHSAAS LANGAR SCHEME will be operated by private charities and trusts through this public-private partnership. Private social welfare and social organizations are supported by the government in the following three ways.
- There is a need for logistical support, since welfare organizations face opposition to setting up longer where they are needed
- As a second means of providing support, the government ensures quality and safety
